 Milana Aleksandrovna Vayntrub - American actress, comedian and activist She was born in the Soviet Union to Jewish parents and began her career as an actor when she was a young girl, just after moving to the United States. From 2013 until 2016, she was the AT&T saleswoman Lily Adams, and since 2020. She rose to fame due to her appearances in TV commercials. In addition to commercial appearances, she also appeared as a series regular on the Yahoo! Screen science fiction show Other Space (2015). She was also an actor on the NBC drama This Is Us (2016–2017). Vayntrub is also the voice of Squirrel girl on Marvel Rising since 2018, after being cast in the unaired television pilot New Warriors. Vayntrub was Jewish born in Tashkent, Uzbek Soviet Socialist Republic. Her parents and her fled antisemitism when she was just two years old. They moved to the U.S. with their children. Due to the family's financial problems, she started acting in Mattel Barbie commercials as a five-year-old. Vayntrub attended Beverly Hills High School briefly however she quit during her second year. Then, she earned the GED and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication at the University of California, San Diego. As part of the Upright Citizens Brigade she studied Improv comedy.
